United Kingdom Tourist Visa

  • US Citizens
    US Citizens donot normally need a visa to the United Kingdom for a short visit.
  • Non US Citizens
    Citizens of country that require a visa (Visa Nationals) to the United Kingdom need to submit the following documents:
    1. Valid passport plus expired passports if you have any
    2. Green card or I-20 or J-1 or valid US visa or Advance parole. If you are sending I-20 then it must be endorsed recently
    3. Application filled up online at www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk and paid online. We need this application printed out. After you have filled online application please make an appointment for biometrics at the nearest location. Get your finger prints done at that location. Please remember when you fill out online application on the first page of the application the second question select New York.
    4. Biometrics stamped sheet.
    5. Letter of employment if you are going for vacation. If you are going to attend business meetings please have a letter from your company saying you are going to attend business meetings and all expenses will be paid by them.In this case, you don't need to send your bank statements. The letter must be written on a company letter head.
    6. Copies of last 3 pay slips
    7. Last 3 months bank statements.
    8. Travel itinerary. Please do not purchase ticket. Just make a booking/reservation.
    9. 2 photos passport size with white background
    10. If you are going on vacation and will be visiting friends or family in UK then they have to email or fax you a copy of their UK passport or valid visa and a letter of invitation. The letter must explain the relationship and that they will provide accommodation/food and letter must be signed.
    11. If you are going on vacation and you own a property please give a copy of your last mortgage statement
